Our Total Rewards Staff Compensation team has an opportunity to join as a Compensation Consultant. In this role, you will work closely with and support both HR Partners and business leaders to deliver advice and solutions for the assigned client group in North America. You will also actively participate in exciting year-round initiatives involving the analysis, design and delivery of our global programs including Annual and Mid-year Compensation Cycle and Market Review. Position Responsibilities Acts as a consultant to assigned business unit(s) or functional area(s), provides analysis, advice, and education on compensation-related issues to HR Partners and business leaders. Drives the annual market review process for the assigned business unit(s) or functional area(s) including survey management, analysis of market competitiveness, and presentation of recommendations to senior leaders. Analyzes job content, conducts job evaluations at any level and degree of complexity. Provides strong analytical support in the design, development, and implementation of compensation programs and processes, understanding internal equity, external competitiveness, and relevant regulations in Canada and USA. Provides compensation support, guidance and education to HR Partners and assigned business unit(s) or functional area(s) throughout the year-end and mid-year compensation process. Makes recommendations for improvement and changes in business processes, systems, and procedures. Maintains an understanding of the competitive compensation practices in the market. Required Qualifications University degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Commerce with 3+ years of compensation related experience. Courses/completion of CCP / GRP designation would be an asset. High proficiency in market data analysis, quantitative analysis and survey techniques; expertise in working with market pricing tools would be an asset. Experience in program design, plan modelling and implementation. Strong analytical skills, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and spreadsheet analysis. Very detailed oriented and strong client service orientation with demonstrated consulting skills, responsiveness and flexibility in managing client needs. Strong problem-solving skills, oral and written communication, planning and organization skills, project management and decision-making approaches. Innovative, creative, proactive self-starter capable of managing complex multi-task assignments simultaneously.
