The Role: Medcan is looking for a Maintenance Attendant to join our Facilities team. The role is primarily responsible for routine and preventive maintenance. What You'll Do: Perform day-to-day general routine maintenance and preventative maintenance within clinic General maintenance to include basic repairs, carpentry, paint, drywall and plumbing Complete general project work as assigned by manager Assist in the implementation of energy conservation program Maintain all clinic areas and ensure clinic is in good working condition Coordinate with other staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service to clients as-needed What You'll Need: Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle. Ideally a degree or diploma in a related engineering discipline. Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality/medical industry is preferred. Strong background in plumbing is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to interact with clients, co-workers and third party vendors. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including primarily evening and weekends. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work independently. Ability to lift or safely move objects up to 75lbs. This is a full-time position, scheduled from Monday to Friday with occasional weekends required as needed. The role will primarily service the Downtown Toronto and Oakville locations, while some travel may be required to support Collingwood and Muskoka clinics. Ready to Apply?
