Key Skills and Abilities Include: 5 years of experience in crop input and sales agronomy Ability to communicate in both French and English is required CCA designation or the ability to obtain it Degree or diploma in Agriculture Proficient in Microsoft Office Key Personal Attributes Include: Strong leadership qualities Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without formal authority Skilled at managing multiple projects Strong organizational and project planning skills Excellent communication skills Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include: Plan and organize sales activities and customer/prospect contact to achieve business goals. Plan and develop dealer/distributor network in the territory according to agreed market development strategy. Motivate dealers and distributors to promote and sell the portfolio of products. Educate growers, dealers, and distributors on new products. Conduct direct visits to dealers and distributors to assist in selling portfolio of products. Conduct direct farm visits to growers to promote and sell portfolio of products. Sell and service equipment related to application of products. Install and help to install equipment related to the application of products. Sell storage tanks related to storage of fertilizer products. Deliver fertilizer, parts, equipment, and storage tanks to dealers and farmers. Conduct grower meetings to promote the use of products and services. Attend farm shows to promote the use of products and services. Locate and develop test plot locations related to the research and development program. Compensation and Benefits: The base compensation for this position ranges from $79,800 - $117,090. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, mental health, life & disability, and retirement plan participation, including an employer match of up to 3% into your RRSP.
