Talent Attraction & Development Analyst/Sr Analyst

Role
As a Talent Attraction & Development Analyst/ Sr Analyst you will manage development activities for Industrial Areas in Canada to provide an adequate and continuous flow of qualified personnel. Implement development policies to ensure the best human resources for Tenaris, and coordinate Recruitment & Selection activities in the region.
Responsibilities:
Designs and develops the implementation of career plans in the Region by relating current personnel with defined key positions. Ensures the development of key personnel by having development conversations with employees, feedback reviews, coaching and support to line managers.
Identifies and responds to position requirements by securing the necessary resources for the area. Full Cycle Recruitment; including interviewing, applicable employment testing, employment offers, onboarding.
Analyzes organizational structures and future objectives to ensure selected resources are adequately integrated into Tenaris organization, including headcount tracking.
Ensures the application of the Performance Management Process for all salaried group in Canada; self-appraisal, primary appraisal, client-suppliers, committees, data tracking, liaising with global contacts, logistic planning, communications to staff, etc.
Maintains relationship with educational institutions to ensure adequate flow of qualified personnel for future employment with Tenaris and availability of viable candidates in accordance with Annual Recruitment Program.
Assist with internal investigations for cases of employee misconduct, including documenting incidents and tracking and organizing data.
Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with colleagues and staff. Manages HR related activities in line with norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to their area.
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in Business with a major in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Engineering is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years’ of experience in a similar role is required.
Experience in recruiting, talent development, training and succession planning is an asset.
Experience with conflict management and investigations is an asset.
Experience in the following industries is an asset:
Oil and gas
Manufacturing
Unionized environment
Experience in other areas of Human Resources, i.e. Labour relations, benefits, etc. is preferred.
Skills & Travel
Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Team player.
Strong attention to details.
A self-starter who proactively solves problems and is self-motivated.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage confidential tasks and information with discretion and integrity.
Ability to travel a few times a year to different Tenaris office/manufacturing facilities within Canada is required.
Schedule & Working Conditions:
Monday to Friday, 8hr days, with flexibility based on business needs.
Work is performed in a steel manufacturing mill office.
