Executive Aviation is excited to announce that we are looking for Ground Handler Leads for our Sault Saint Marie (YAM) Below the Wing team. This person will help in providing hand on leadership and coverage for each flight. You will be the one providing a great example to our Ground Operations team on how to safely and successfully work with aircrafts. We are looking for a hard worker, dynamic problem solver, progressive thinker, and someone who has the proven ability to create efficiencies in the operation.
This position reports to the Station Manager.

Responsibilities:
Complete Ramp Agent responsibilities in addition to being person of accountability for each flight
Ensure each airline procedures are followed as well as following the rules and regulations of Transport Canada
Act as first line of contact for airline and airport requests, escalating appropriately to Assistant Station Manager and Station Manager
Complete Vortex reports for any incidents or safety concerns
Meet frequently with Station Manager to review operational and team performance
Ensure all Ramp Agents are briefed on their anticipated roles
Ensure all ground service equipment is operational and provide a back-up plan for unserviceable equipment
Ensure all winter operation checks have been completed and de-ice paperwork is filled in accurately.
Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove/dispose of when found
Complete and report all equipment inspections through iAuditor
Fuel all ground service equipment while on shift
Grooms aircrafts – clean whole cabin, lavatories, restock lav with supplies
De-icing aircraft and recording deice fluid applications for billing / invoicing and auditing
Assist with the training of new Ramp Agents when needed
Provide verbal warnings of discipline to Ramp Agents when required
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-year ground handling experience
A positive individual with the proven ability to lead a team
Have a record of safe working habits and personal on-time performance
Has displayed great leadership skills, or an interest in learning
