As our Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist (it’s a big job…needs a big title), you would be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the Skyline Group of Companies' internal and external communication activity. This will include writing, reviewing, and editing communication pieces to ensure a consistent brand identity as well as growing the profile of each of the companies while maintaining focus on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.
What we look for:
Creative business writer (but not too creative, we have to be truthful) who can make even the driest subject matter sound exciting.
A penchant for blog writing, social media, SEO, SEM, and the Google AdWords platform.
Flexibility - not in a yoga kind of way, but more about being able to change gears quickly as our business needs evolve.
Strategy expert, we can depend on you to suggest the best course of action.
Proven track record in project management practices and can overcome issues by using your magical organizational skills.
Professionalism - it means so many things, but to us its about taking pride in the quality of service we provide to our customers inside and outside the organization.
A sense of humour (not only do you think you're funny, but others do too!)
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Journalism or related field.
Five years of workplace experience or equivalent combination of workplace experience and education.
