Job Description

Showcase your service and organization strengths as an Event Set Up Attendant, where your attention to detail, safety and quality will help “set the stage” for a successful group function.
Starting Rate: $20.86 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.96.
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Event Set Up Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain the cleanliness of banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas
Lift and store tables, chairs and staging efficiently and safely
Set-up, maintain and break down banquet meeting rooms
Follow directions from banquet event orders for assigned banquet meetings
Report needed repairs of unsafe equipment and or conditions
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
Previous guest service experience preferred
Must have an Alberta Class 5 Driver License in good standing
Must be able to provide a recent Driver’s Abstract in good standing
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs
Carrying and pulling of over 20 lbs
