We are seeking a Retail Sales Territory Manager for OTTAWA. In this role your clients will mainly be the LCBO, Convenience and Gas however the role will also include LCO (Agency) accounts. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-respected company and become part of a tenured sales team with amazing leadership. This is a Full Time Permenant position.

ROLE SUMMARY
This position is responsible for effectively achieving and striving to exceed territory sales and distribution targets within their assigned territory. Building and maintaining professional and productive business relationships with key retail and APL team members. Successful candidate will has a strong track record of performing in a retail sales environment calling on multiple outlets in a high paced industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Results
Maximize market share in the assigned territory (LCBO & C&G) to achieving and exceed revenue & distribution growth targets.
Ensure volume, distribution, coverage, promotion, merchandising and sales tactics are all implemented as outlined by sales leadership.
Responsible for the total breadth of the APL portfolio. Import Wine, Domestic Wine, Cider, Cream Liqueurs & Whisky.
Territory includes Ottawa and Area
Financial/Administrative
Operate assigned LCBO territory within approved expense budget
Knowledgeable with respect to company expense policies relative to travel, entertainment, account coverage; including ability to exercise judgments in terms of obtaining prior approval before committing Company with respect to time, effort, and expense.
Analyze data sales data to negotiate with retail managers to gain listings, incremental floor placement and drive sales.
Business Development
Develop professional, productive partnership relationships with key LCBO Stores/Grocery and Regional decision-makers to support overall sales strategies.
Monitor, communicate and recommend solutions to management regarding competitor activities, business developments, market/product opportunities.
Communications
Ensure prompt and proper handling of all customer complaints and concerns.
Active, knowledgeable participation in departmental and inter-departmental meetings.
Security/Health & Safety
Ensure company car, business equipment, sales aids, miscellaneous allowances, and service stock issued are being used consistently within company policy.
Promoting a health & safety culture by ensuring a safe work environment through effective operation of the Health and Safety program, joint H&S committee (if applicable) and compliance with EH&S regulations.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Ontario C&G & Field Sales Manager

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
University /College diploma or equivalent experience
Wine education (up to WSET Level III) preferred
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Beverage alcohol industry experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of personalities
Exemplary leadership, customer service skills; including communication, product knowledge, problem solving, and attention to detail
Ability to set and stick to a sales plan , with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes in circumstances such as stock shortages
Proficiency with Microsoft office applications such as Word, Outlook, Explorer and Excel
Maintenance of privileged and confidential information relating to company sales
Flexible outside regular business hours
