About the role :
The Traffic Coordinator role reports into the Traffic Manager. You will work directly with Sales and clients to determine commercial creative to air during purchased timeslots. also,will be responsible for Creating and editing daily commercial logs, while maintaining proper break management and adhering to advertiser and station requirements.
You will contribute by:
Create and edit daily commercial logs, while maintaining proper break management and adhering to advertiser and station requirements.
Log moves done to ensure both good customer service and good viewer experience
Log formats and daily log assembly
Entry of Sales bookings and billings into the Traffic system
Inventory Management
Commercial material scheduling
Infomercial episodic Scheduling
Verification and delivery of final schedules to Master Control
Ensure deadlines are met with accuracy, preserve revenue, and support all internal and external departments as required.
Build relationships with agencies and clients while ensuring creative, instructions and approvals are received on schedule
Learn and apply channel-specific rules, escalating issues to relevant stakeholders before they become problems
Problem solving to minimize financial risk.
Audit co-workers to ensure accuracy
Generate various traffic related reports, on an as needed basis
Skills and experience you will bring:
University or College degree in broadcast media, marketing or related program considered an asset
Candidates should have experience with a traffic system (S4M preferred) in a Television Traffic environment or experience in an Advertising Agency Media department.
Detail-oriented, accurate and a quick learner.
Team player – but able to work independently.
Time management skills, ability to prioritize to meet daily deadlines.
Flexibility with working hours and approach to change.
Cooperative and responsive in providing accurate information to everyone.
Exceptional Customer Service, collaboration and communication skills.
Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office is a prerequisite
