This position is a Hybrid role available in Vancouver, BC. About the role: Are you an Accountant with sizeable and complex corporation experience? Are you looking to support operations as well as assisting the North America Finance and Accounting team in fulfilling mandates? In this role, you will: Recording of revenue and commission expenses according to US GAAP Provide support to the branch offices on the use various Deal Tracking System and assist with day-to-day operational related inquiries. Provide guidance to other team members in handling complex deposits and journal entries. Perform revenue testing at month-end by analyzing relevant agreements thoroughly. Assist manager and team lead in reviewing current process flow and seek areas of streamline and improvement. Provide supervision and daily management of team members. Analysis of broker contracts, commission splits, and addressing inquires related to broker splits Prepare month-end journal entries with complex calculations. Provide quality analysis in a timely manner on revenue and producer compensation items on P&L. Participate in month-end closing meeting and investigates the variances. Review and reconcile Balance sheet accounts related to Revenue and commissions. What you bring: Near completion of (or holding) a CPA designation 3-5 years of financial accounting experience in a sizeable multinational corporation Strong aptitude for streamlining and improving processes. Has exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills. Effectively communicates with colleagues in a multicultural, multinational environment. Pursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information: Approximate Salary Range for Role: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 CAD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations.
