The Department of Medicine, Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and the Division of Dermatology at Women’s College Hospital (WCH) are seeking to recruit a Clinician Investigator with training in general dermatology plus research and clinical expertise in the areas of wound healing and/or inflammatory skin disease. The successful candidate must either already hold or be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. The successful applicant will be eligible for an appointment as Scientist, Women’s College Research Institute at WCH. Effective start date is December 1, 2025 (can be modified as needed) or a mutually agreeable date.
The successful candidate will hold an M.D. and FRCPC qualifications (or equivalent specialist designation) with certification in Dermatology. Applicants must have or be eligible for licensure in the province of Ontario. The ideal candidate will have advanced research training (MPH, MSc, PhD or equivalent) and expertise in the development and implementation of innovative virtual care solutions leveraging emerging technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. In addition, the ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and have demonstrated capacity and aptitude for effective interdisciplinary clinical and scholarly team collaboration and interactions.

Academic rank, salary and contractual arrangements will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Remuneration will be based on the candidate's specific criteria, including experience, skills, education, and training.
