This position will report to the Director, Commercial Value Optimization and can be hired as either an Advisor or Senior Advisor.
What you will do:
Develop and maintain complex business and financial models. Conduct scenario analyses to evaluate strategic commercial initiatives, and business performance, supporting data-driven decision-making
Support cross-functional teams--including Sales, Transportation, and Product Management, and Market Research--in identifying and evaluating opportunities to improve enterprise value by leveraging research, benchmarking, and structured decision-making
Anticipate and respond promptly to stakeholder needs across various levels of seniority by taking initiative on assigned tasks
Communicate with tact and diplomacy, present clear and concise analytical-driven insights with the understanding of the need for confidentiality
Contribute proactively to a small, accountable team by bringing a flexible, can-do mindset, pitching in where needed and unafraid to ask for help to ensure shared success
Manage deadlines on multiple projects of varying complexities
Demonstrate enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn and grow
Inform strategic commercial decisions through your work that will shape the company’s long-term direction
What you will bring:
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
Enrollment in or completion of a professional designation (i.e., CFA, CPA, MBA) or other is desirable
3-8 years of experience in finance, corporate development, or consulting roles with an analytical/data focus
An analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex information
High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly financial modelling using Excel, and presentations in PowerPoint
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
High level of confidentiality and sound judgement
