We provide trade execution, clearing, custody and back-office support services to Canadian-based brokerage firms and the Canadian brokerage arms of U.S.-based firms. We're seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager who will be responsible for delivering high-quality products by working closely with Product Owners and Delivery teams, ensuring that the solutions developed meet both user needs and business objectives. The Purpose of the Role The Product Solutions team drives innovation in digital financial technology, and seeks a creative, client-focused addition to join us. This role focuses on ensuring the successful delivery of cross-platform initiatives by driving the implementation of our cross-functional product strategy and maintaining alignment to the vision across all agile teams. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who thrives in collaborative agile environments and can effectively lead while working alongside Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, Product Operations, and Internal Operations teams. What You Will Do Product Leadership Execute on the FCC product vision and strategy Transform business objectives into coordinated product roadmaps that drive cross product enhancement initiatives Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure backlogs align to deliver cross platform initiatives. Cross-Product Agile Leadership Lead discovery activities to assess the viability of a feature/solution against the value expected Lead cross-team alignment sessions to identify product dependencies and resolve prioritization conflicts Collaborate with Technology teams to assess technical feasibility and align on integration requirements that support seamless cross-product experiences Participate in agile ceremonies at the program level (PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, etc.) Strategic Documentation and Traceability Work with Business Systems Analysts to define high-level functional and non-functional requirements Ensure Product Owners have clear, actionable requirements to create user stories Establish and maintain clear traceability from strategic business objectives, through discovery requirements to defined product scope and delivery outcomes Stakeholder Management and Communication Serve as primary liaison between product leadership and agile delivery teams Communicate progress to product leadership Lead cross-team feedback consolidation with product owners to ensure consistent feature insights are effectively communicated to their respective teams Data-Driven Decision Making and Performance Work with the Data team to ensure proper data collection and reporting mechanisms are in place. Conversely ensure platforms measure and track required data to measure business outcomes. Translate concepts into actionable product plans and efficient execution for delivery Act as subject matter expert for assigned FCC client facing product solutions Work with the Manager, Product Solutions to provide product solutions representation on projects for client facing initiatives Collaborate with partners across many disciplines, and at all levels across the organization Provide support to the sales team to help educate prospective clients Consult with Implementation Manager on product solutions competitive analysis, product enhancements, rollouts, and training guides for client facing tools Consult and support the Marketing Manager on the creation and delivery of all marketing materials What We Are Looking For: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience 6+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years of those years in a senior role Minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry Experience managing products that span multiple development teams and business domains Strong background collaborating with Product Owners and delivery teams in agile settings Proven experience working in dual-track scrum agile environments Agile certifications CSPO or equivalent (minimum), ACSPO or equivalent (highly valued) Certifications such as a CFA, CSC, MBA will be an asset The Skills You Bring: Track record of successful cross-functional leadership Excellent organizational skills and an ability to effectively prioritize Ability to work collaboratively with multiple business units and external vendors Ability to adapt quickly and easily to a changing working environment Strong relationship management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to see discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information, explain variances and recommend a course of action for resolution Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
