Our team regularly collaborates on projects across North America. The successful candidate should be comfortable working and collaborating on a variety of different projects with team members across North America.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player that is excited about taking on a new challenge. While the successful candidate will be based in our Winnipeg, MB office, we do offer flexible hybrid work from home/office arrangements.
Your Responsibilities as a Civil technologist:
Using your knowledge of drafting practices and CAD platforms you will work closely with other CAD Technician / Technologists, engineers, and senior designers to complete the following tasks:
Prepare engineering drawings for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
Ensure Revit, CAD Standards, Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.
Understand and adhere to Stantec and client standards.
Coordinate project drawings with project managers, technical staff, and others.
Prepare presentation graphics and report figures.
Prepare plan, profile, grading, surface design for water, storm, wastewater piping, and roadways design from concept to final, ensuring reviewer comments received are corrected and addressed.
Complete CAD project reviews and collaborate with other technical disciplines.
Ensure that the project needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
