We're looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. You'll gain
hands-on experience leading Kabam’s social presence, shaping player engagement
across digital platforms. Acting as both a strategist and creator, you'll ensure
campaigns align with business priorities, amplify key player moments, and use
data-driven insights for stronger engagement and growth. This is a fantastic
opportunity to plan and execute best-in-class social content for titles like
Marvel Contest of Champions and Shop Titans, and contribute to bringing our
games to life.

In this role, you can expect to:

Social Strategy & Channel Management

Define and drive the long-term strategy for Kabam’s social media presence
across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, and emerging
platforms.

Achieve growth targets and engagement goals, ensuring channels consistently
elevate Kabam’s brand and act as trusted touchpoints for players.

Proactively stay ahead of industry trends and platform innovations to evolve
Kabam’s social media approach.

Campaign Leadership & Execution

Lead the planning, development, and execution of social campaigns tied to
product launches, live ops, community events, and key cultural moments to
drive player engagement.

Produce content calendars to ensure marketing roadmaps are tightly aligned
and integrated with business priorities.

Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure product marketing, game dev,
community, and growth teams are aligned on social strategy.

Content Development

Provide creative direction and strategic guidance to internal teams to
produce highly engaging, high quality content such as short-form videos,
copy, images, memes, and campaigns.

Ensure all content strengthens Kabam’s brand voice and resonates with gaming
audiences.

Champion new content formats and storytelling approaches to keep Kabam at the
forefront of gaming social media trends.

Performance & Insights

Own the reporting that tracks and analyzes social performance, reporting
regularly on KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth, sentiment, creative
effectiveness) and drive actionable insights and recommendations to optimize
future campaigns.

Provide actionable recommendations and regular updates to senior leadership
to optimize campaigns and content strategies ensuring continuous improvement
and innovation over time.

Community & Event Amplification

Lead Kabam’s social amplification of community and fan events (e.g.,
conventions, player events) with timely and engaging social amplification

Extend Kabam’s presence beyond the event floor to energize the broader
community.

Collaboration & Partnerships
-
Manage relationships with IP holders such as Marvel to ensure alignment with
brand guidelines and support integration with their social channels.

Partner and collaborate with Product Marketing, Community, Growth, and game
studios to ensure social campaigns reflect that business priorities are
aligned with marketing and game development goals.
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
- 5+ years of professional experience managing social media, ideally in gaming
or entertainment
- Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, and Facebook
- Solid understanding of what drives engagement across platforms
- Experience with analytics and scheduling tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, or
native platform dashboards a plus
- Creative mindset with strong writing, ideation, and storytelling skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a live-service game environment where business
objectives and priorities change fast
- Passion for gaming—especially free-to-play mobile games. Familiarity with
Marvel Contest of Champions is a huge plus
- Basic familiarity with creative tools like Photoshop or Premiere is a plus,
but not required

The typical hiring range listed above is specific to candidates located in
Vancouver. The salary will be determined based on your knowledge, skills and
competencies, and you’ll have room to grow after you join!
