Richelieu Hardware is looking for a Panel Products Marketing Manager. The position can be in either Calgary, AB or Surrey, BC.
More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to:
- Managing and oversee inventories & procurement – Insure, correct selection and level of inventory is available
- Sourcing and introducing new suppliers and products - creating marketing campaigns and implementing same
- Understanding competitive landscape in order supply and provide right product, at right place and right price.
- Balancing of inventory within our distribution network.
- Vendor relations – Establish, maintain, and promote a positive relationship with all suppliers to the segment, includes price negotiations.
- Manage market pricing and develop promotional programs specific to local western markets
- Support, train and assist both specification and sales teams to increase their knowledge of the product lines
- Work closely with the “Board Product Specialist” as well as the applicable Sales Managers to drive sales
- Spend time in local markets assessing customers needs and developing strategies to better service their needs
- Support and help develop the Retail Board program
Requirements :
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the Western Canadian industrial wood industry
- Demonstratable proven track record
- Currently has established vendor relationship
- Positive and professional reputation in the industry
