Position Summary:
Under the general direction of Director, Business Intelligence, the Manager, Analytics will lead efforts to quantify and understand Great Canadian’s performance. They will work with leaders across the business on developing strategies well supported by analytics. There will be a particular focus on guiding marketing efforts through deeper segmentation and performance analysis. They will provide action-oriented analysis through the use of Looker reports and other analytical tools. The role of Analytics Manager ensures adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities:
Support leaders across the business in developing data-driven strategies
Recommend marketing strategy based on the design and analysis of A/B tests
Design and create self-serve analytical reports that clearly convey results and drive action
Streamline and automate manual data processes
Review business processes and systems for improvements in accuracy, efficacy and efficiency
Educational and Functional Requirements:
Post-secondary education in a relevant field (business, computer science, etc.)
Minimum 4 years of experience in an analytical role (e.g. data analyst, consultant, etc.)
Knowledge of SQL & Looker/LookML is an asset
