We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our
dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud
infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment
(CI/CD) practices. This role will be critical in building and maintaining the
infrastructure that supports our clinical research products, ensuring
scalability, reliability, and security.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud
infrastructure using AWS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing
of applications and services.
- Oversee, maintain, and collaborate to fix issues caught by SAST, DAST, and
related scanning.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CDK or
CloudFormation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure by implementing best
practices and security measures.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the
software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and
DevOps processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in DevOps, cloud technologies,
and industry best practices to enhance our solutions continually.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer, preferably in the healthcare
industry.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms and services, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, S3,
Lambda, RDS).
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CDK or
CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and
Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Sentry, CloudWatch, and
others.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance best practices.
- Very proactive, positive stance and taking initiative without supervisor
request.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as
well as in a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for improving healthcare outcomes through technology.

- Familiarity with healthcare data standards, compliance, and protocols such as
HIPAA, HL7 FHIR, OMOP, i2b2.
