What’s this role about?
This role is a 18-month contract opportunity, with a possibility of turning to
FT-Perm. As a product manager at Auvik, you’ll be supporting the growth of
Auvik’s rapidly growing SaaS management software targeted at managed service
providers. Using your hands-on product management experience, you’ll work with
engineering, sales, partner success, and marketing to champion our product with
customers and make them love it even more.
What will I be doing?
You will:
- Curate and manage part of Auvik’s product and feature roadmap.
- Develop strategies with customer success to help grow and retain Auvik’s
customer base.
- Support sales with any demos and technical due diligence required to help
grow the business.
- Using data we’ve gathered, make day-to-day decisions that will result in an
overall better experience for our customers.
- Work with the support and engineering teams to help take any tier-two issues
to root cause and resolution. This could include sitting down with our
engineers to brainstorm the best way to solve a problem or jumping on a call
with a customer to troubleshoot a sticky situation.
- Use Jira, Aha!, ZenDesk, and related tools to manage the product funnel.
What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years of Product Management experience in a SaaS environment, ideally
within a high-growth or scale-up company.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: cybersecurity, SaaS
management, automation, asset inventory, or compliance tooling.
- Measurable understanding of identity and access controls such as SSO/MFA,
least privilege access, and automated provisioning/deprovisioning.
- Past exposure to risk reduction strategies involving Shadow IT detection,
data loss prevention, and third-party application risk scoring.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Avid curiosity and the ability to learn new things quickly
- A positive can-do attitude
- Nice to have: Practical knowledge of frameworks such as CIS Controls, SOC 2,
NIST, or ISO 27001, with experience operationalizing these into product
capabilities.

Compensation Details:
At Auvik, our compensation philosophy is to be market competitive, reward
performance, reflect our commitment to equity and maintain transparency with our
employees. We have defined job levels and compensation ranges for each of our
markets we employ, based on research from various sources of market data, which
are reviewed on a regular basis.
The hiring range for this position is listed below. Compensation offered for
candidates in this role is based on a number of factors including job-related
skills, knowledge, and experience. These factors may cause your compensation to
vary within the range outlined below.
In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees are granted stock
options to share in Auvik’s future successes. Auvik employees are eligible to
participate in additional benefits and programs including our comprehensive
health and dental benefits plan, Wellness spending account, GRSP matching
program, flexible paid time off, paid parental leave program, and are eligible
for remote working subsidies.
Salary Range:
$114,500—$148,500 CAD
