GENERAL DESCRIPTION 
Okanagan Clinical Trials is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Research Assistant to join our team in Kelowna, BC. The Research Assistant is responsible for conducting memory assessments, data entry, scheduling, maintaining files, and assisting the research team with administrative tasks. The research assistant may also collect vital signs and performs ECGs.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Scheduling
Data Entry
Patient Recruitment
Scanning
Faxing
Reminder Calls
Possess a sound and in-depth understanding of each protocol’s requirements
Perform timely, accurate electronic data entry, using the protocol-specific eCRF completion guidelines
Verify entries for accuracy and completeness
Respond to automatic system-generated queries
Relay all other queries to appropriate study coordinator
Conduct memory assessments
EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree
Two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and training is an asset
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Computer literacy required
Proficient in MS Office required

Job Status: Full Time / 40 hours per week
Salary: $52,000 – $56,000 salary (Including benefits after a 3-month probation period)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm
