Cleveland Clinic Bath Health and Wellness Center is looking to add a Clinical Dietitian to the Health and Wellness team. In this role, you will be responsible for group and individual nutrition and lifestyle change programs and services. These programs and services include, but are not limited to, the LiteStyle Program, Cardiac Rehabilitation education, specialty programs, nutrition seminars, individual consultations, and community education. You will work with various patients looking to obtain weight loss and wanting nutritional consultation, allowing you to enhance your skills and knowledge with each interaction. This is also a PRN (as needed) opportunity, offering flexibility in scheduling and a great work-life balance. A caregiver in this position works varying shifts between the hours of 6:00AM – 7:00PM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Administer the LiteStyles program including the training and supervision of program instructors and the system-wide promotion of the program. Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy through private nutritional consultations. Conduct corporate nutrition classes on a variety of nutritional topics. Provide nutrition support at cholesterol screenings and corporate events. Provide the nutritional component at the new LifeStyles member orientations. Instruct and promote the monthly Nutrition Club at Health & Wellness West and Health & Wellness North. Serve as a member of the Speaker's Bureau to deliver reliable, nutrition information at various local community meetings. Administer the nutritional education component for the Cardio-Pulmonary Phase II and III programs. Conduct finger stick cholesterol/glucose screenings using the Cholesterol analyzer. Represent Health & Wellness in the media and at community events. Perform body composition calculations using the Body Logic Analyzer. Maintain age-appropriate care for clients and recognize significant age-appropriate behavior, skills and psychosocial development. Assist patients with safety needs based on patient visual, auditory or other physiological changes. Provide nutritional information and programs for the community, corporations and Akron General Health & Wellness Center events. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics Current registration AND licensure as a Clinical Dietitian Three years of experience in nutrition and dietetics One to three years of experience with teaching adult education programs Working knowledge of computer systems and applications Maintained competencies specific to patient population served Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to present information to individuals and groups in a clear and concise manner Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Program-building experience Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
