We are currently seeking a DLP Cybersecurity Administrator to join a dynamic cybersecurity team focused on protecting sensitive information assets.

Responsibilities
Design, configure, and fine-tune Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules, policies, and exception handling based on regulatory frameworks and internal data governance requirements.
Integrate the DLP solution with surrounding security technologies (e.g., firewalls, secure web gateways, email security systems) to enable full-spectrum monitoring (data in use, in transit, and at rest).
Analyze events and alerts from DLP consoles to detect unauthorized data exfiltration or misuse; perform incident triage and escalation as necessary.
Lead recurring policy reviews and audits to ensure continued alignment with evolving business and regulatory needs.
Partner with internal stakeholders (legal, compliance, human resources) to handle data-related incidents and support policy enforcement.
Collaborate with risk and governance teams to develop comprehensive DLP policies, procedures, and user awareness strategies.
Draft procedural documentation and reporting metrics to evaluate and communicate DLP program performance.
Serve as a technical liaison with business units and infrastructure teams to ensure secure configurations aligned with data protection objectives.
Required Experience and Technical Expertise
Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in cybersecurity with a concentration in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) operations and engineering.
Hands-on experience deploying and maturing enterprise-wide DLP programs.
Proven track record in data discovery, classification, and lifecycle management strategies.
Deep technical knowledge of network-based, endpoint, and email-based DLP technologies.
Full understanding of the DLP policy lifecycle, from design to decommissioning.
Strong experience in designing and automating security architectures in distributed or global environments with a DLP focus.
Skilled in defining mitigation strategies against data-related risks and implementing technical controls accordingly.
Solid grasp of complementary data protection technologies such as CASB, endpoint firewalls, host-based intrusion prevention, and antivirus solutions.
Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively convey technical security concepts to business and IT audiences.
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview DLP is considered an asset; however, in-depth expertise in alternative DLP platforms is equally valued.
