Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Customer Service Clerk to join our Home Centre team on a part-time (24 hours per week or more) basis at our location in Wainwright, AB. Reporting to the Customer Service Floor Supervisor.
What you’ll do:
Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
Ensure department standards are met with inventory, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and displaying products.
Operate point of sale system and prepare daily cash reconciliations.
Follow opening and closing procedures.
Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
Process returns transactions efficiently.
Maintain checkout operations by adhering to policies and procedures.
Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping in the store.
Be familiar with and follow all safety procedures.
Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.
Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You have Grade 10 education or equivalent retail and/or customer service experience.
Ability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
