Are you a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Criticalist (Emergency & Critical Care) looking for your next exciting chapter? Boreal Veterinary Centre in Edmonton, Alberta is seeking a Critical Care Specialist to join our collaborative and growing specialty and emergency hospital.
You’ll be joining an established emergency and critical care service, working alongside experienced ER veterinarians, highly skilled VTS ECC technologists, and a multidisciplinary specialty team. Together, you’ll help shape and grow a department that prioritizes patient outcomes, innovation, and compassionate client care.

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a candidate with:
- Diplomate status (ACVECC/ECVECC) or completion of a residency in Emergency & Critical Care with eligibility to write board examinations
- A team-first mindset with a passion for collaboration and mentorship
- Excellent communication skills and sound clinical judgment
- A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- A commitment to advancing patient care and contributing to the growth of the ECC department
- A passion for teaching summer students, final year veterinary student primarily from UCVM and WCVM, and a newly established internship program
