Job Description
For this entry-level position we are seeking a service-oriented, detail-focused Tools and Equipment Administrative to support our Tools and Equipment Coordinator in keeping our construction sites running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone with a construction or industrial background who understands tools and equipment, can identify them easily, and is comfortable assisting with minor repairs and organization.
You’ll play a key role in organizing, tracking, and distributing tools and equipment across projects, while ensuring accurate records and excellent service to our field teams.
What You’ll Do
Provide efficient, customer-focused support to project teams, ensuring their tool and equipment needs are met quickly and accurately
Assist with shipping and receiving of tools and materials to and from job sites
Support electronic processing of rental and sales contracts
Coordinate tool repairs, rentals, deliveries, pickups, and maintenance
Perform minor tool repairs and assist with ongoing equipment maintenance
Maintain accurate records of receipts, rentals, transfers, and inventory
Help complete and track vehicle inspection reports
Collaborate with the Tools and Equipment Coordinator, warehouse staff, superintendents, and project managers to reconcile inventory discrepancies
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in the construction industry or a related industrial environment
Strong service orientation with a focus on meeting customer needs efficiently
Proven ability to handle detailed administrative work with accuracy and consistency
Background in delivery, tool service/maintenance, or warehouse operations
Solid knowledge of construction tools and equipment—how they are used, maintained, and repaired
Familiarity with maintenance schedules, rental contracts, and manufacturer guidelines
Hands-on ability to assist with basic tool repairs and organization
Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, including in varying weather conditions
Flexibility to travel as required and work occasional weekends/evenings
