Vancouver Rangers Football Club, presented by Pedalheads soccer is a youth
soccer club for children aged 5-12. We operate out of UBC and Trillium Turf*.

Purpose
We believe in providing children of all ages with high quality professional
coaching, we are consistently looking for excellence to add to our coaching
team. Pedalheads also offers a generous bursary program and give back program
through annual social giving, and we are continuously working on meaningful ways
to make communities better for having us there
Opportunity

characters to teach foundational soccer skills to our 5–12-year old soccer
stars.

The Role
We are looking for great coaches to lead our academy youth teams from ages 5-12.
Experience in soccer coaching is essential. We are specifically looking for
coaches who have professional coaching experience and qualifications, who can
work Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings.
This job is perfect for someone looking for part time hours (in school, working
alongside another job etc). This role would be well-fitted for someone who has,
or is working on, their coaching qualifications. Training will be provided in
our coaching methods and regular support offered throughout the season.
You must be located in Vancouver and ready to start work immediately.
We are looking for confident characters who understand the value of age
appropriate coaching methods whilst ensuring the learning objectives are met.
Our ideal candidate would be someone with prior experience in coaching/working
with the 5-12 year old age group.
Your Responsibilities
- Teaching our daily Pedalheads Soccer programs for children ages 5-12 years
- Actively introduce children to new soccer skills
- Ensure the health and safety of children at class or league
- Act as a positive role model and leader at all times
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
We believe that a great team is built on a collection of skills, knowledge and
experiences and we consider all of this when we review your application:

Confident communicator who can get on the children's level and encourage and
support them to achieve their individual potentials

Physically fit and able to work 4+ hours per day

Reliable and able to commit to evenings

Currently living in Metro Vancouver, BC

Able to commute to sites across the lower mainland

2+ years of youth soccer coaching (required)

Coaching Certification (preferred)

Possession of a current standard First Aid CPR-C certificate prior to
starting

Satisfactory criminal record check (for employees 18+) or character reference
check (for employees under 18).

PAY AND PERKS
The successful candidate will be paid hourly an hourly wage of $20.00 - 35.00
plus 4% in lieu of benefits. This position is based out of our Vancouver sites.

- Midweek evenings & weekends
- Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week
