Our multi-specialty medical centre provides rapid access to executive health and longevity assessment services, heart health assessments, MRI, CT, CT angiogram, x-ray, ultrasound, echocardiogram, biopsy, interventional radiology, and pain management. We boast the latest longevity technology. Our 3T MRI is one of only three privately owned units with this magnetic field strength in British Columbia. This allows us to offer clients the most detailed imaging currently available, leading to faster scanning with more accurate results.
Position Summary:
The Company is currently searching for a motivated team player to join the exciting, fast-growing company. You will be working in a team-based environment to support physicians in delivering excellent patient care. If you love helping people, this job is for you.
What you will be doing:

Coordinating patient care through the clinic: checking in, prepping, escorting to exam rooms, preparing exam or treatment rooms, answering questions, providing post-appointment service, monitoring the waiting room

Facilitating patient flow by notifying technicians and physicians of patients’ arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staffs

Answering and routing inquiries by phone, email and in person in a helpful, respectful and efficient manner

Maintaining appointment schedule and managing recalls

Maintaining electronic medical record, entering patient demographics and performing tasks such as scanning, linking, and uploading documents

Collecting payments and providing receipts, following up on unpaid invoices periodically

Generating administrative reports

Ensuring exam rooms are stocked appropriately and that they are ready for next patient

Assisting physicians when requested

Protecting patient confidentiality at all times

Keeping the reception area clean and organized

Cleaning and sterilizing materials and instruments when needed

Performing all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required
You Have:
- Works well in a team environment, as well as independently
- Above-average telephone etiquette and the ability to talk to patients in an understanding and caring manner
- Phenomenal multi-tasker
- Outstanding organizational and customer service skills
- Excellent English communication skills: grammar as well as spoken English
- A team player capable of interacting professionally with staff and physicians
- Skilled using Microsoft Office and open to learning new technology and platforms
- Minimum education: Medical Office Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience a must.
- Experience using an Electronic Medical Records system such as OSCAR is an asset
Clinical Skills and Abilities:
- English (fluent)
- Medical Terminology
- Medical Office Assistant certificate or 2+ years of office experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate
