What You’ll Be Doing
- Practice to full NP scope in a primary care setting
- Diagnose, treat, and manage urgent, acute, and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic and screening tests
- Perform procedures and treatments as needed
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions
- Provide preventative health advice and counselling
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Manage client reports and perform necessary administrative tasks
What You Bring
- Registered Nurse (CARNA) with an approved NP program completed
- Master of Nursing with advanced clinical focus for all ages
- Full IFM or A4M qualification
- BCLS-HCP, AED, and Venipuncture certification
- Additional advanced clinical certifications are an asset (e.g., Emergency Nursing, PALS, ACLS)
- Experience in broad assessment, treatment, and health promotion
- EMR proficiency and strong computer literacy
- Passion for primary care, including acute, chronic, and preventative health
- Strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, and a patient-first approach
