The Position
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Graphic Designer is responsible for bold, creative designs that support our strong visual identity, including digital content and physical signage for all divisions, departments, and locations.
What You’ll Do
Create engaging digital content for social media platforms, email campaigns, and the Sarjeant Company’s website
Design and prepare print materials including brochures, flyers, and other marketing collateral
Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure all designs are consistent with our brand strategy, goals, guidelines, and vision
Organize and manage digital assets to ensure consistency across multiple platforms
Collaborate with the marketing team to translate concepts into compelling, engaging visuals
Work closely with all teams to brainstorm and execute on new creative ideas, staying current with design trends and bringing fresh ideas to the table!
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines; prioritizing tasks based on urgency and business impact
Manage final file exports, pre-press setup, and vendor coordination for print job
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of work
Previous experience in a similar industry considered an asset
Expertise in creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Skilled in developing engaging content tailored for diverse social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
Knowledge of both print and digital design principles, including typography, colour theory, and layout
This position is 100% in-office, Monday to Friday at our head office located at 15 Sarjeant Dr, Barrie
This is a contract position for approximately 12 months
