Reporting to the QA/QC Leader, the successful co-op student will be responsible for verifying and measuring incoming parts flagged for inspection to ensure company standards are met and specifications are matched against engineering drawings. The co-op student will also work with team members on calibrating shop equipment.
Work Term: Winter 2026 (Jan - April) - 4 Months
Work Arrangement: Day Shift, On-Site, 5 days per week (Mon - Fri)
Work Arrangement: 90 Belfield Rd., Etobicoke, ON
Responsibilities
Approval of finished products for shipment involving visual verification, mechanical inspection and electrical testing
Calibration of mechanical and electrical instrument measuring equipment
Participate, when necessary, in troubleshooting and problem-solving
Read and interpret part and assembly drawings
Collaborate with assemblers and production personnel on quality inspections
Record and maintain inspection and calibration records
Collect and summarize quality reports monthly
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or Quality Assurance
Available and eligible to work a 4 Month Co-op Work Term for the Winter 2026 term
A team player
Excellent communication skills
Keen interest in design and manufacturing
Some manufacturing experience is an asset
