Arrived in Canada as a refugee (government or private sponsorship), applied
for asylum after arriving in Canada (refugee claimant/asylum seeker), or were
forcibly displaced. This includes individuals from countries such as Ukraine,
Afghanistan, Iran, and others.

Currently reside in the Greater Toronto Area or near the Greater Toronto Area.

You can attend the event in person in Toronto on October 17th.

Eligible to work in Canada (you must have Permanent Residency, Citizenship, or

The Key accountabilities are but not limited to
- Assist in the installation and removal of wood and engineered formwork
systems for columns, walls, suspended slabs, slab on grade and concrete
stairs.
- Pouring and vibrating of concrete.
- Finishing and curing of concrete.
- Organizing and cleaning the job site.
- Assembly, operation, and disassembly of dewatering equipment.
- Ability to set up and utilize heating equipment (frost fighters, salamanders,
etc.)
- Ability to safely and securely rig loads of various sizes.
- Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary
structures.
- Assist in the use of equipment and hand/power tools associated with this
work.
- Assist in the Health & Safety program of the project.
- Ability to work at heights.
- General material handling.
- Other tasks as required.
Skill Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
- General formwork knowledge.
- Good communication skills.
- Motivated to learn and contribute positively to the team.
- Able to conduct oneself in public professionally and courteously.
- Punctual, reliable, and accountable.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work full-time and outside of regular hours as required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outside in all types of
weather.
- Site-based position.
- Use of personal protective equipment (i.e. hard hat, safety boots) required.
