Job Description: The Christmas kettle COORDINATOR ensures the smooth running of the kettle campaign, maximizing donations and coordinating the staffing of employees and volunteers. Position Purpose summary and key responsibilities: Works with a small team, coordinating all aspects of the Christmas kettle fundraising campaign • promotes the campaign through community presence, social media, phone calls, etc • strengthens relationships with management and leadership at all kettle locations and is responsible to act as a liaison, providing supports as needed • Recruits, trains, and schedules and supports kettle workers and volunteers • Ensures all kettles and supplies are maintained at all locations, at all times • works with a list of volunteers, clubs, churches and businesses to assist in filling volunteer positions • Provides post campaign support to ensure transition to future campaigns • ensures donors, volunteers, workers and all partnerships are thanked and invitations are given to appreciation events • performs other duties as assigned Is able to work in adherence to The Salvation Army’s Christian Mission and Values. Awareness and compliance with CHILLIWACK Policies and Procedures. Must have basic computer knowledge and word processing skills. Performs other duties as assigned. Qalifications and Education requirements: The successful candidate must: Must have a Police Security Clearance Certificate. Must have a valid driver’s license. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT/HOURS: (CONTRACT/CASUAL up to 40 hours per week) Contract Full Time Temporary Position from October 1, 2025 to December 24, 2025. The position requires working up to 40-hours per week, flexibility with work hours/schedule is expected. (Monday to Saturday). Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is $17.85 to $20.64 with a maximum of $24.77. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
