As a Relationship & Governance Workstream Lead you will play a key role in managing and delivering a stream of work with a focus on establishing governance, patterns and routines. This is a 12-month opportunity. What will you be doing? Designing and evolving governance and assurance frameworks that support clear decision-making structures, escalation pathways, accountability mechanisms, and compliance with industry, regulatory, legal, and contractual standards. Building a culture of commerciality and strategic collaboration among stakeholders, role-modelling behavioural expectations, and fostering trust, transparency, and collaboration through strategic dialogue. Developing and embedding partnership patterns and routines such as steering committees, joint working groups, performance reviews, playbooks, monitoring and reporting frameworks to ensure holistic oversight, alignment across the partnership, and effective internal management of contracted outcomes. Navigating complex stakeholder environments by aligning internal and external stakeholders and governance bodies, developing prioritisation, planning, and approval processes, and ensuring seamless execution activities. Establishing feedback loops and continuous improvement mechanisms within governance routines, supported by regular assurance reviews, reporting cycles, and recommendations to senior leadership. Developing and maintaining performance assurance and risk management mechanisms that monitor delivery against KPIs, SLAs, and outcomes, embed risk review and mitigation within governance routines, and collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk teams to resolve regulatory requirements. Preparing and presenting performance and governance reports to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations that reinforce assurance, performance monitoring, and strategic alignment. What are we looking for in you? Ability to create and contribute to long-term strategies while managing financial outcomes for your area of accountability. Track record of building, empowering and engaging teams that deliver on shared objectives. Strong capability in developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including senior and Executive leaders, to enable collaboration and deliver mutual outcomes. Proven experience within financial services, insurance or related industries, with success in governance frameworks, strategic partnerships and cross-functional program delivery. Extensive background in project or program management, Agile delivery and stakeholder engagement across complex, multi-stakeholder environments, with familiarity of ACCC and APRA interactions. Commercial acumen with highly developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills, translating strategic objectives into operational practices and aligning business and insurer motivations. Tertiary qualification in Business, Legal or a related field, supported by excellent communication, problem-solving and data analysis skills to interpret performance data, identify trends and drive insights.
