The Role
Our internship program allows early talent to get diverse and valuable
experience, make a real impact, and find their place in one of the
fastest-growing industries. We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern with an
AI focus to help research and implement AI projects that streamline our
financial processes and support our month-end close. This is an excellent
opportunity to work with cutting-edge financial tools, gain hands-on experience
with NetSuite, and contribute to the future of financial reporting through
artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
- AI Tool Implementation:
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of the AI enabled FloQast
close management software.
- Support the migration of existing close processes into FloQast while
identifying areas to revolutionize with the new tool.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to optimize workflows within the new
system.
- AI and Automation Tool Identification:
- Research and identify potential AI and automation tools that can enhance
accounting processes with innovative technologies.
- Assist in evaluating the feasibility and potential impact of new
technologies.
- Contribute to the design and piloting of AI-powered solutions to streamline
tasks
- Month-End Close:
- Assist with various tasks crucial for the timely and accurate completion of
the month-end close process.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Identify areas where AI can be implemented to support the team in meeting
tight deadlines for financial reporting.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Extract and analyze financial data using AI to transform raw numbers into
meaningful insights that inform strategic decision-making for business
leaders.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and proposed
solutions, sharing them cross-functionally to facilitate strategic business
decisions
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and
Operations, to understand system requirements and implement solutions.
- Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates on project progress
and gather feedback.
Who You Are
- Educated: Pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor's Degree in
Commerce/Business administration with concentration in Accounting
- Communicative: Whether written or verbal, people know what you mean, what you
are asking for, and what is expected
- Analytical: You have an eye for detail and have the ability to interpret data
into simple, intuitive information
- Detail-oriented: You have a keen eye for the little things, and you’re
comfortable working with granular details
- Organized: You have excellent organization, prioritization, and time
management skills

sensitive, complex information
- Patient: You are comfortable working through new problems for the first time
that may not have an obvious or precise answer
