The Project Designer works in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to producing high-impact proposals for aquatic play park projects. He/she is responsible for the visual presentation portion of these proposals by creating 3D renderings. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the design of play areas in urban and commercial spaces to undertake a versatile and rewarding role within a forward-thinking organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review the proposal design documents.
• Create proposal design package using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Plan work according to customer requirements and company standards.
• Evaluate proposed layouts in the design guide and propose/discuss any changes with sales teammates.
• Communicate with sales teammates or directly with the client to obtain information or clarifications on needs.
• Review and interpret technical requirements based on pool codes and safety regulations.
• Transfer the 3D drawing into AutoCAD for technical drawings showing the water effects.
• Participate in special projects.
• Monitor project timelines and milestones
Qualifications:
• Degree in Industrial design, Architectural Technology, Architecture and Urban Landscaping or 3D Visual Artists.
• 2-4 years' experience in a similar role.
• Expert knowledge of SolidWorks. 3DSMAX an asset. Good knowledge in Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Good knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Unreal is an asset.
• Ability to learn pool structure standards
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage client interactions
• Project management experience for overseeing deliverables and timelines.
• Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Professional presence and confidence in client meetings, presentations
• Flexible and able to manage multiple projects at once. • Ability to manage time and priorities and work at a fast pace.
• Attention to detail and team player.
• Able to read architectural plans and keen eye for aesthetics and colors.
• Good communicator in both French and English (Intermediate level of English is required).
Proficiency in English is required for this role as approximately 40% of the responsibilities involve regular communication with stakeholders based in the United States and Europe.
