Job Description
We are currently looking for a versatile, intelligent, and energetic restaurant employee with a passion for delivering outstanding service to join our professional and friendly team. As a General Attendant, you will be responsible for:
Providing passionate, charming, and attentive service delivery to all customers according to our service standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
Taking accurate food and beverage orders, communicating effectively with kitchen staff, and serving meals in a timely manner.
Maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floor.
Assisting in food preparation tasks as needed, such as salad assembly or dessert plating.
Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process orders and payments.
Handling cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately and responsibly.
Addressing customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines set by the restaurant and local health department.
Assisting in opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service standards.
Maintaining knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and allergen information to answer guest questions accurately.
Supporting other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as hosting or bussing tables during peak hours.
Promoting a positive dining experience by anticipating guest needs and providing personalized service.
This role requires a high level of energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Ensures customers are attended to in a courteous and friendly manner and swift resolution is given to their issues/complaints
Ensures sales entries are correctly entered and receipts are issued to customer
Maintain excellent level of hygiene at all the time
Must be knowledgeable about the company products
Must possess suggestive selling skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Additional Information
Days of Operations Monday- Friday
Starting Time Range 7:00am-
Wage $20.59 Per Hour to start
Part Time Available- could lead into full time status
