Job Role
Prepare a variety of traditional dim sum dishes with attention to authenticity and quality
Master techniques for making dumplings, buns, rolls, and other dim sum specialties
Ensure all dishes meet recipes and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
Manage ingredient inventory and assist with ordering supplies
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations strictly
Contribute to menu development and suggest new dim sum creations
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a dim sum chef or similar Chinese kitchen role
Strong knowledge of dim sum recipes, cooking techniques, and presentation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Good attention to detail and commitment to food quality
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP preferred)
Good communication skills and teamwork ability
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for long periods and handle physically demanding tasks
