Territory: Vancouver Island and Vancouver Lower Mainland Area. The Territory Manager is part of the Canada Sales team and adds value for Husqvarna and it’s dealers by cultivating a business relationship that facilitates each dealer’s growth, optimal performance, and success. The Territory Manager is responsible for securing and developing new dealers that help meet sales and market-share goals for the territory. This position will plan, enhance, and measure the performance of assigned dealers, as well as service the dealer base. This job regularly requires being in front of the customers to present products, promotional programs, etc. Required travel is up to 60% with overnights required. What You Need to Know: Develop a plan to increase company brand position in assigned territory Gain dealer commitment & orders Make planned dealer-calls and chronicle the discussions and outcomes in CRM Demonstrate equipment and provide product application learning opportunities. Able to lift 40-50 lbs to demo and set up trade shows Facilitate the success of sales, marketing, and promotional campaigns Acquaint dealers with the latest selling techniques Monitor dealer inventory levels and drive business adjustments as required Represents Husqvarna at trade, industry, and dealer shows What We Are Looking For: Minimum of high school degree or equivalent; Associates Degree Preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high performance in sales environment Lives in a location within the assigned territory that the Company logically determines will best serve our customers Prior sales experience in industries that have shown dramatic growth and volume in sales, such as appliance, agricultural equipment, power tool, electronics, consumer durables, construction equipment, and/or power sports businesses preferred Prior dealer/distributor sales experience preferred Proven sales performer with excellent negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently and transfer expert knowledge into practical solutions as part of maintaining a successful relationship with dealers and customers. Demonstrated understanding of market positioning both from a financial and product viewpoint. Demonstrated knowledge and/or aptitude and passion for learning extensively about outdoor power equipment and the industry in order to represent the Husqvarna brand and products effectively to dealers. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop high quality working relationships both internally and externally. Strong planning and organizational skills, demonstrating ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
