Responsibilities
- Utilizing your background in messaging technology and service-oriented
event-driven architectures, build high-throughput, distributed systems.
- Contribute to the engineering process and culture, grow with and influence
the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Become a key “go to” lead for technical challenges with the product.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience with the C# language and MS .NET framework.
- Practical knowledge of LINQ and Web development technologies such as
Javascript and HTML5.
- Knowledge of the Quality Assurance dynamics associated with software
development and the ability to resolve issues within a multidisciplinary team
such as the system support group and the Quality assurance team.
- Familiar with the design and build-up of high performance and volume
transactional systems.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to elaborate architecture in support of a business requirement
(system design).
- Ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise
manner.
- You are possessed with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have
the confidence to tackle difficult problems.
- Ability to share technical knowledge and best practices with team members.
- Experience with one or more of these is desirable. Our tech stack consists of
React, Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js, C# / .NET Core, MongoDB, Docker.
- Knowledge of MongoDB, Linux, Git, RabbitMQ, and Docker (asset).

Hybrid Policy
- Please note that this role requires three days a week in our Toronto office
which is located near Union Station
