As a member of the healthcare team, using a client-centered approach, the Occupational Therapist enables the client to maximize his/her occupational performance (self-care, productivity, leisure) in order to facilitate vocational and community reintegration and functional adaptation.
- Member of College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Graduation from a WFOT approved occupational therapy education program
- Experience with multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the field of chronic pain management
- Above average clinical and non-clinical analytical skills
- Capacity to liaise with community agencies, referral sources, family physicians
- Teaching skills and experience would be assets in this role
- Marketing skills and experience would be assets in this role
