ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced product manager to drive new innovation for our
flagship Equity Tech platform. In this role, you will own the bi-directional
integrations product roadmap, collaborating closely with engineering teams to
ensure successful launches of new integrations and directly engaging with
customers to gather feedback. Your role will be instrumental in shaping a
scalable ecosystem that supports HRIS integrations.
You will be central to Syndio’s mission of eradicating workplace pay and
opportunity disparities, working cross-functionally to guide data-driven
features, projects, and initiatives from concept to launch. You will bridge the
technical and business realms, serving as the customer advocate throughout the
development lifecycle, crafting and launching features that drive sales growth
and engagement. Additionally, you will collaborate directly with internal
stakeholders and teams to identify areas of opportunity, develop best-in-class
products, and empower our customers with high-quality solutions.

ownership of the integrations product roadmap, strategically guiding its
evolution to align with business objectives and market needs.

clear and cohesive roadmap that meets customer demands and technical
capabilities.

techniques to enhance user-centered design.
- Leverage Data Insights for Informed Decisions: Utilize advanced data
analytics skills to derive actionable insights, driving data-driven product
decisions and effectively communicating progress.
- Excel as a Communicator and Brand Representative: Serve as an expert
communicator, ensuring transparent internal and external communication on
product progress, key decisions, and achievements. Represent Syndio
confidently at industry events and engagements.
- Navigate Ambiguity to Foster Clarity: Demonstrate comfort in ambiguous
situations, adeptly acting with incomplete information to provide clarity and
direction for colleagues and stakeholders.
About you
- Proven track record in integrations product management or a related role,
demonstrating a deep understanding of product lifecycle and defining the
optimal user journey
- Workday, UKG or SAP integration experience
- Experience with HR tech - Human Resources systems
- Solid understanding of API technology and usage in integrations, experience
defining requirements.
- Hands-on experience in fast-paced, delivery-focused settings with a strong
grasp of Agile methodologies (sprints, backlog grooming, etc.) to drive
efficient product development
- Effective cross functional collaborator, bridging the knowledge gap between
engineering and customer facing functions.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic business objectives into
actionable product initiatives, aligning with organizational goals
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective facilitation of dynamic
meetings, elicitation of insights from diverse experts, and translation of
needs into impactful product features
- Track record of managing and prioritizing multiple features across multiple
teams and development phases, ensuring successful outcomes
- Strong quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail, leveraging
data-driven insights to make informed decisions
- Self starter; ability to act autonomously
- Fluent in utilizing product management tools to streamline processes and
enhance productivity
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing startup and wearing many hats
Extra credit
- Experience developing SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with data structures e.g., payroll data, HRIS data, etc.
- Familiarity with multiple functional areas, such as project management,
engineering, UX/UI, sales, customer support, finance or marketing
ROLE PROGRESSION:
- First Month: Establish groundwork and connectivity for bi-directional
integrations with HR systems while collaborating with engineering and
customer success teams.
- Three Months: Refine connectivity solutions, engage with AI/ML and data
science teams, and confidently handle client-facing discussions.
- Six Months: Expand connectivity to international systems, contribute to AI
data consumption decisions, and drive projects forward with updated backlogs.
