The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the provision of rehabilitative care to patients with a variety of disabilities, and function as a member of a clinical unit comprised of multidisciplinary staff.
Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nursing of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
Recent experience (within 2 years) with a rehabilitation, medical, geriatric or orthopedic patients population
Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated knowledge of Rehabilitation nursing
Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary care and a nursing professional practice model
Knowledge of outcome measurement, e.g. Functional Independence Measure
Familiar with a Primary Nursing model of care
