The Opportunity:
Are you a strategic digital marketer ready to lead transformation across channels? As Manager, Digital Marketing, you will shape and execute a cohesive digital strategy that elevates Symcor’s brand presence, drives measurable growth, and enhances engagement with clients and employees. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives across web, SEO/SEM, email, and paid media, ensuring digital platforms deliver business impact while reflecting innovation and excellence.
This role combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and creative execution, giving you the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, optimize customer journeys, and integrate digital operations across departments. About The Role
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will:
Support the development and execution of integrated digital marketing strategies across web, SEO/SEM, email, and paid media.
Ensure the corporate website is an effective marketing and business tool, optimized for performance, usability, accessibility, and SEO.
Drive qualified traffic and conversions through integrated organic and paid digital marketing strategies, contributing to annual revenue growth targets and customer acquisition goals.
Create and execute email marketing strategies that nurture leads, retain customers, and drive engagement.
Drive process improvements and integrate digital operations across departments to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Mentor and educate peers and cross-functional teams on digital marketing best practices and platform usage.
Influence senior leadership and external partners to adopt innovative digital approaches aligned with organizational goals.
Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure high-quality execution of digital initiatives.
What You Need to Succeed
Education:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Certification or demonstrated training in digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Ads, GA4, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SEMRush, HTML/CSS, accessibility standards) is strongly preferred.
Commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with evolving digital tools, SEO algorithms, privacy legislation (e.g., CASL), and marketing trends.
Experience:
6–9 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, cross-channel execution, and platform optimization.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams or projects.
Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (Sitefinity preferred), HTML/CSS, analytics tools (GA4, SEMRush), SEO/SEM, and email automation.
Experience managing agencies, vendors, and developers to deliver integrated campaigns.
Strong background in analyzing and interpreting performance data to drive optimization and business results.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, with exposure to crisis communications and urgent deployment cycles preferred.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with demonstrated success in digital transformation initiatives.
Skill requirements
Hands-on experience with CMS (Sitefinity preferred) and working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
Proficiency with Google Ads, GA4, Google Search Console, SEMRush, and email automation tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
Strong understanding of SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical) and SEM strategies.
Familiarity with heatmapping tools (e.g., Hotjar).
Skilled at interpreting data across multiple platforms and translating insights into actionable strategies.
Experience with A/B testing, user behavior analysis, and optimizing digital customer journeys.
Ability to navigate technical issues with CMS, HTML, or vendor integrations.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
Adept at translating business objectives into technical requirements for internal teams and external vendors.
Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Resilient under pressure, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to evolving business needs.
