Rockfon is seeking a District Sales Manager - Ontario and Western Canada to join our dynamic Sales organization. This person will be based either in Calgary with a primary territory of western Canada and Ontario or Toronto with a primary territory covering the GTA and western Canada. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. This position reports to the National Sales Manager - Canada and collaborates closely with the Architectural Sales Manager and other team members. What You Will Be Doing The District Sales Manager (DSM) will lead sales activities across an assigned territory, driving profitable growth through distribution partners, contractors, and the architectural/design community. This role is pivotal in strengthening Rockfon’s market presence in Canada, expanding share within those key channels, and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy. Territory Leadership Manage all sales activities within the assigned accounts, with accountability for revenue growth, margin/price improvement, and distribution development. Distributor & Contractor Engagement Develop, manage, and grow relationships with key distribution partners, contractors, end users and installers to maximize sales opportunities. Specification Growth Drive pull-through demand by engaging architects, designers, and consultants; promote Rockfon’s solutions for acoustics, aesthetics, and sustainability. Strategic Planning Build and execute territory business plans aligned with national sales strategy, including pricing execution, volume targets, and market share growth. Collaboration Partner with colleagues in Marketing, Technical, and Customer Service to deliver best-in-class support and execution. Market Intelligence Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends; provide insights to inform strategy. Reporting & Accountability Manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and maintain CRM discipline to ensure transparency on progress toward goals. What You Bring 5+ years of proven sales experience in the building materials, ceilings, acoustics, or construction products industry. Strong track record of managing distributor and contractor relationships, with an ability to influence across the value chain. Established network with Interior Systems Subcontractors and architectural/design community (preferred). Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive profitable growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Willingness to travel 50% with 35% overnight travel within the assigned territory. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
