The Director, Cyber Security defines enterprise security strategy and policy to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems. This role oversees the development and enforcement of cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance standards across ISC and its subsidiaries, leading risk assessments, audits, and incident response to identify, manage, and mitigate security threats. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Services, other highlights include: Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity and IT risk management program. Direct cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk assessment processes across all business units. Develop and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity framework. Manage cybersecurity budgets, monitor efficiencies, and report on performance metrics. Oversee planning, coordination, and response to internal and third-party security audits. Ensure consistent application of security policies and standards across technology projects and systems. Partner with legal, governance, and enterprise risk teams to maintain a robust, integrated security posture. Stay current on emerging security threats and assess their potential impact on the organization. Lead cybersecurity awareness, training, and compliance initiatives across all teams. Oversee system security, vulnerability management, incident response, and preventive measures. Drive continuous improvement of security systems through proactive monitoring and enhancement. Prepare and present reports on cybersecurity performance, risks, and strategic initiatives. Support the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for ISC and subsidiaries, acting as backup to the ISMS Manager. What you’ll need: Degree in business administration or a technology-related field required. Hold one or more security designations such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA. Minimum of eight to 12 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information/cyber security and IT jobs Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management including managed services.
