TEST SECURITY OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Paragon’s Test Security Operations unit by conducting research, investigation and analysis to detect security concerns and improve the integrity and quality of tests at Paragon’s national and international test centres.
This position reports to the Test Security Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Flag Resolution
Coordinate with the other divisions to assist qualitative and quantitative analysis on security anomalies
Assist with data analytics including performance data to establish irregularity benchmarks and thresholds as needed
Provide recommendations for efficient test delivery and test security processes and procedures
Investigate and research new procedures, technologies, and tools to strengthen test security and prevent breaches to test security, including contributing to improvements in biometrics and data forensics as they relate to test taker and test centre behaviours
Play a proactive role in the following stages of flag resolution:
Clearance
Evaluation
Efficiency Review: Conduct ongoing risk analysis; research and implement best practices to mitigate risk at various stages of test delivery and scoring
Case Investigation
Coordinate test security investigations as needed to identify fraudulent behavior at the individual, group, and/or test centre level
Prepare background materials for Test Security Panel meetings
Collect evidence via communications with individuals and groups, as well as visits to organizations for investigation
Investigate test taking individuals and/or test preparation organizations via web monitoring
Identify needs in investigation field work and evidence collection
Provide written reports as evidence to support test security investigations
Play a proactive role in the following stages of case investigation:

Legal
In cooperation with other divisions and our staff attorneys:
Assist with assessing damage of test content and addressing legal issues as needed through the building of compelling legal cases covering the following:

Plagiarism Detection
Coordinate with Paragon’s Test Operations division to implement score/performance irregularity analysis and workflows for score drift and test content exposure
Coordinate with the Technology division to ensure that algorithms are constructed to address Test Security needs and concerns
Miscellaneous
Propose, develop, and implement projects to improve test security through process and technology changes
Perform data collection and analysis
Create and update test security documentation
Assist with operationalizing new test security materials and processes
Help with streamlining internal processes and procedures
REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, Criminology, or equivalent.
Possess a minimum of one year of experience in test security or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge and experience using statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, R, etc.) is an asset.
Ability to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to pay careful attention to detail, to exercise tact, discretion, and confidentiality, and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
Willingness to grow and provide support to meet the needs of the company.
