Reporting to the Manager, IT Procurement you will be responsible for managing IT hardware inventory and overseeing the spare pool of devices used to support stores, warehouses, and project initiatives. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the IT warehouse, ensuring timely fulfillment of hardware requests, accurate asset tracking, and seamless coordination with procurement, finance, and installation teams to meet business needs efficiently. You will be responsible for: Managing IT hardware and spare pool inventory to ensure accuracy and availability. Receiving, tracking, and organizing incoming and outgoing IT equipment in the warehouse, while inspecting shipments for accuracy against purchase orders and logging serial numbers and asset details. Fulfilling hardware requests by picking, packing, and shipping equipment for stores, projects, and new openings; staging and configuring devices and collaborating with store installers to ensure hardware readiness aligns with project schedules. Coordinating with procurement coordinators, store installers, and finance on equipment needs, capitalization, and depreciation. Conducting cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy, while investigating discrepancies and updating records accordingly. Tracking inventory levels and proactively identifying replenishment needs and escalating critical shortages to procurement to prevent project delays. Performing IT asset management transactions within the financial system, including asset transfers and disposals Seeking opportunities, challenging procedures, and making recommendations to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Travelling locally between offices and warehouses on an as-needed basis to deliver and receive product. Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. You have: A minimum of one year of experience in a role involving inventory coordination, asset tracking, or logistics support. Experience specifically related to IT hardware inventory or asset management is an asset. A post secondary education in business or a related field is an asset. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. A valid driver's licence. Experience with ServiceNow Asset Management is an asset. Experience with PeopleSoft Financial system is an asset. A pro-active problem-solver, skilled at resolving inventory discrepancies and responding to urgent equipment needs.
