We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Finance Analyst – Treasury Services to join our Finance team in Langley, BC. Reporting to the Director, Treasury Services, you be responsible for the day-to-day cash management operations of the business that includes, supporting store opening, general foreign exchange, inter-company funding and loan management, relationship management with the financial institutions, wire/bill payments/ACH initiation, as well as all aspects of financial reporting for the corporate banking function. You will be responsible for: Reconciling bank inflows and outflows in ERP system including, processing of cash applications, and posting to CAD and USD accounts while maintaining proper documentation for incoming and outgoing cash. Monitoring cheque fraud protection daily and action on the exceptions by the deadline. Updating foreign exchange rates daily in the daily cash report. Daily cash position reporting. Preparing weekly commentary for treasury report to executives. Verifying entries for accuracy; investigating and processing variances and posting of all exception entries. Verifying payment files are received and processed by the bank. Correcting bank files not received/sent or rejected by the bank. Preparing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly cash forecasts. Processing wire and manual ACH payments, stop payments and administration and maintenance of all bank accounts and signing authorities. Updating FX rates weekly within the ERP system as well as for the tills. Preparing documentation for new bank account requests to various financial institutions. Maintaining internal treasury policies and procedures to ensure information is up to date. Analyzing bank and payment processing fees and keeping record of the fee statements. Record keeping and journalizing of FX Spot and hedge transactions. Creating and maintaining wire and ACH templates. Assisting with KYC documentation for various banks and financial institutions. Assisting with insurance cost allocation, budgeting, and account reconciliations. Preparing journal entries and bank reconciliations for treasury transactions. Ensuring appropriate accounting and analysis of the impact of all Treasury transactions. Creating and updating accounting policies and procedures for the Treasury Services department. Tracking and maintaining the inter-company loan schedule for loan extensions, principal repayment, and interest – performing the account reconciliations. Ad-hoc projects and support as needed. You have: 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or corporate banking role. Enrollment in the CPA program with successful completion of Core 1 (or an equivalent or recognized accounting designation program). Demonstrated experience in treasury services, including hands-on involvement in cash management, banking operations, or related financial functions. Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You are: Organized, with solid time management skills and can effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks while working independently. An excellent communicator with the ability to draft clear and concise written communications. Analytical, with strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to develop creative and strategic solutions to issues. Detail oriented and dedicated to delivering quality work.
