Job Title: Commercial Service Technician Lead Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Responsibilities:
Service and install various products, including but not limited to: loading dock equipment, vehicle restraints, sectional doors, and rolling doors.
Repair and troubleshoot defective equipment.
Maintaining proper truck stock, inventory, and company vehicle.
Responible for accurate timekeeping; detailing job numbers, travel time, labeling equipment, and completing job assignments timely.
Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross selling additional services and products.
Interact with customers, end-users, and general contractors courteously and professionally.
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address diverse door and site requirements.
Performing routine preventative maintenance.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Promote the company’s operational visions, values, and goals.
Participate in training or other team activities to support ongoing continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or his/her designate.
Qualifications:
At least 4- 10 years experience in including loading dock equipment, sectional doors, and rolling doors.
Electrical experience is a plus.
On call rotation and overtime requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record – Class 5
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to handle a physical workload.
Proficient with power tools.
Independent work capability.
Service-oriented individual with effective written/verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working at heights.
Adaptability to a changing work environment.
Effective interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must pass background check
Basic math skills.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work in any weather conditions (indoors/outdoors)
