About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and qualified individual to join our growing team as a Electrical Planner. There is 1 open position available to support our projects in Dubreuville, ON. We are actively seeking to fill these positions to support the continued success of our operations. The role of An Electrical Planner creates detailed work plans to organize electrical maintenance and projects, coordinating labor, parts, and equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and asset longevity.
The key responsibilities of the Electrical Planner are; but not limited to;
Work Order Planning
Create comprehensive work plans for routine maintenance, preventative tasks, and major repairs, ensuring all necessary labor, parts, materials, and tools are identified.
Resource Management:
Forecast and secure all required resources, including skilled labor, parts, and access to equipment, to support project completion.
Coordination:
Liaise with supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operations personnel to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and ensure smooth execution of work.
Data Analysis:
Utilize maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP) and historical data to analyze work orders, manage backlogs, and monitor performance KPIs.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure plans adhere to safety protocols and relevant electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70/NEC) and industry standards.
Downtime Reduction:
Develop strategies to eliminate potential delays and minimize equipment downtime, thus improving productivity and extending asset lifespan.
Asset Preservation:
Understand and align plans with company goals to maintain and preserve facility assets.
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and related schematics.
Planning & Scheduling:
Proficiency in basic scheduling theory, work breakdown structures, and resource loading, often using software like Primavera P6.
Communication:
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
Computer Proficiency:
Expertise with relevant software, including maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, analyze historical records, and make informed planning decisions.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to respond to unforeseen circumstances and implement changes to plans as needed.
